Who this is about
CloudCard is made by Naspin Tech Inc. A CloudCard profile belongs to the professional whose name is on it. When you send something through their profile, it goes to them.
This page covers what happens to what you send. It is written from the code, and it says what the system does rather than what it might do.
When you use Share my contact
You give a name, a contact number, and — if you want to — a message. All three go to that one professional, and appear on their own Customer Information page.
They can add their own notes, a tag, and a reminder to get back to you. None of that is visible to you or to anyone else.
Nothing else is taken. No email address, no location, and no identifier that follows you to another profile.
When you book an appointment
You give a name, an email address or a phone number (one of the two), and optionally a message and how you would like to meet.
This goes to the professional so they can confirm or decline the appointment. CloudCard emails you when you request it and again when they answer, and that email carries a link you can use to cancel or move the appointment yourself.
The professional also receives an email, and can add their own note to the booking.
When you only visit a profile
A visit, a tap of a card and a tap of a link are counted so the professional can see how their profile is doing. What is stored for each is a one-way code made from your network address and the date — never the address itself.
That code changes every day and is different for every professional, so it cannot be used to identify you, to recognise you tomorrow, or to follow you from one profile to another.
Because of that, a professional can see that their profile was opened forty times. They cannot see that any of those forty visits was you — including when you have also sent them your contact details. CloudCard does not join the two, and has no way to.
The browser family (such as Chrome or Safari) and the website you arrived from, if any, are stored alongside it. Not the full address of the page you came from — only its domain.
How long it is kept, and how to have it removed
CloudCard does not delete these records on a timer. There is no retention job in the system, so saying otherwise on this page would be untrue.
The professional can delete a record you created, at any time, from their own portal — and that deletes it from the database, not from view.
So: ask the professional you sent it to. If you cannot reach them, use the Support form on the CloudCard home page and say which profile it was, and Naspin Tech can remove it.
What CloudCard does not do
It does not sell or rent what you send, and there is no advertising network, analytics vendor or tracking script anywhere on a profile page.
It does not build a picture of you across professionals. Each professional’s records are their own, and nothing compares them.
It does not send you marketing. The only emails are the ones about an appointment you asked for.
